Finally finished the oekaki set and did Jackle. It's my favorite of the bunch, and I'm really proud of that hand, I can't believe I did that without reference. @_@

Speaking of which, this one took the longest because it's really hard to find reference of him. I think there's only one official picture of him, which isn't really all that great anyway. Then from the fanart I've seen it appears that everyone draws him differently, so I just tried to follow the official picture and some screenshots.
I also noticed that although he's got an invisible face, a lot of people seem to draw him with some sort of white mask, or maybe it's just a white face, or he's got paint on or something. So I decided to draw him with a mask/whatever, because I like masks, floaty eyes and mouths are boring to draw, and I like masks. Otherwise though, I think it's pretty accurate.

Oh, and then I tried to find out what he was like, and I guess that he appears so briefly that everyone takes it differently. >_@ Or more like he's either a super happy silly goofball or a super crazy homicidal schizo. Who's smart. The later seemed more appealling, so I just took that route.

...And I still haven't played the game. > _< I OWN the game now, just I lack the Saturn to play it. XP

*instant Fav* He DOES appear quite breifly... as all the bosses do... That's why there is like 89194857096839867 million versions of every nightmaren from that game. XD

you sooooo kick arse at drawing them this way! I ADORE IT...

tho Jackle STILL scares me... this I cannot pass up!

There is ONE good ref of him... but it's like... the holy mecca of refs... so it's hard to come by. But even with such short supply of refs, you did excellent. @_@ Kudos to yous.

The first is the 'fan' personality that makes no sense and has no anchor in the game.

The second is the one that makes sense, and is the one that's in my dreams.

Okay, that's what I thought. I keep hearing that he's got a guillotine and a toyroom, which doesn't really coincide with cute happy fluffiness. And from the picture I saw of him he doesn't really look all that friendly either.

I'm curious about this uber-ref, I can't believe how hard it is to find NiGHTS stuff. I had always thought it was really popular, but I was raised as a Nintendo devotee, so I really have no clue. @_@

Not to mention the toys in his toyroom don't look quite friendly (the Jack-in-the-Box has fangs).

And... yeah... sadly, NiGHTS seems to only of been popular in a cult following type of situation... *rumages for that ref* hold on... I'll show ya it...
